alhamdulillah. everything went smooth.

the.3.months.had.ended

firstly i wud like to apologise
if i had been on hiatus for very long time without telling u guys.
another reason was i was on course for three months and it ended last friday
hoping @ the end of the course
i would attain a specialist diploma after going thru all the modules.

a lot of things had happened while im gone for this course
within the course & my tutorial group,
meet all kinds of ppl from diff walks of lives,
shared knowledge within the course,
improve inter & intra personal strengths
but most importantly, made new friends.

there are ppl who are pregnant and yet younger than me.
some even with 2 kids. and still be younger than me.
at times i feel im a bit the old.
but there are some who are 55
nothing beats that. (:

a handful of lecturer is awesome – jayadas, moses, janet
loads of ‘em are boring.
george jacobs, goh c.b, dr ching just to name a few
told us not to be a boring allied but, yet they are showing it. OMG laa~

from essays of 2k words
to presentations after presentations followed by
a 2hrs science test and endless loads of lesson plans
and not forgetting my favourite
evaluation forms!!

travelled from NEC to SDC
as far as OneNorth or even to SSC.

but…
nothing beats than having a cup of teh-O early in the morning with good company. (:
shared ups & downs and feel comfortable to talk to within the group
learnt that its oki to laugh at your own mistakes
and dun judge a book by its cover – coz ppl think im some mat rep!! omg la~

got to know some towards the end of the course
and realised they r not that bad after all.
if only i had the chance to know more about the rest.
if only

amidst the joy of having the course to be over
heart is heavy not wanting it to end
but that is life.
accept the fact that every start, there must be an ending.

a chapter has juz ended.
3 months ago
strangers become friends.
ties are bonded even closer with that common goal.
and a new one will start in a few weeks time.

till our path crosses the next time,
i wish all who have known me the best of luck.

have decided to hold a ‘healthy snacks competition’ for the sec 1’s

given the theme to be healthy & snacks.
you would be surprised what the sec 1’s could come out with.
apparently 1NT didnt send any representatives &
1N3 failed as the final product could not be served as it uses pork.

so final say.
you can be as creative as picasso. but once you did use BABI.
your OUT.
you can use non halal chicken or beef or mutton. but NEVER pork.

hey all. its been a week since ramadhan kicks in. alhamdulillah.
weekends have been kind. weather pn asyik hujan je.
lets hope it doesnt rain tmr.
we’re having our teachers day celebration
and we’re having a special guest gracing the event.
watch out guys.

school ends by 1030. so yea.. another half day
tuesday no school. holiday. yippee~

and we’re back on wednesday.
balek skola je nid to train the kids for friday’s MT sharing session
the ML Dept is doing a skit on Tanggang
dun worry.. i’ll do some magic to pull us thru~

anyway.. its pouring here in Jurong.
good weather to sleep. i mean continue sleep. hahaha~
oh yea.. abah just celebrated his birthday yesterday.

overall. 4 out of 5 stars.
nothing fancy on this installment except it gives a better

i have decided to stretch my volunteerism to BB East CC – Progress Class
every sunday @ 0930hrs
now tutoring for low income kids; basically primary level.
am teaching them English. ((:
and to adib – all the best in Tekong~

last sat – went to a musical @ DBS auditorium
caught Kolej 56.
arrived @ the wrong location when we first got there.
reached dbs arts ctr when it was supposed to be dbs auditorium.
managed to get there on time. yea!!
and that night the roads were diverted due to National Day Preview.

i would say that the musical is good to watch.
but a little too long – 3hrs.
and the sound system. omg laa.. go and find a better one can guys? ((:

met raikal after the musical. first time seeing him in person.

thursday night – i sit in for zhafrie
who couldnt attend the star mentor group’s urgent meeting held @ Royal’s cafe.
discussing on matters such as mentors profile,
mentees personal particulars, home visits & other admin matters.
i decided to take up a position in the committee for the upcoming event.

one of the biggest event YIA has ever conducted was the Sports Jamz
held on the 4th july @ broadrick sec.
first time in my life, i’ve get to see a lot of kids having fun in conjunction to the youth olympics.

yep. its 3 more days b4 school re-opens.
its confirm that school will open on the 29 june.
and with the babi flu still a pandemic,
the ministry have taken measures to cope with it.

so on the 29 itself, students and staffs are screen
if they are unwell, please make ur way to the gate and stay out.
CCA are scaled down or cancel. awww..
minise congregation of staffs and student – no assembly, what abt canteen? recess?

another thing is the 7-days LOA.
its for those who return from the affected countries.
As of 23 Jun, affected countries are Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic,
Japan, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom,
United States of America, Hong Kong, Indonesia.

anyways, fri got staff meeting.

yesterday was power pack!!
woke up early in the morning to be at sungei buloh.
another YIM programme for pri sch kids.
kids from pioneer, teck ghee, woodlands, marsiling, macpherson attended
about 40 of them

weather was good.
company was great except their are too chatty.
well since most of the facilitators couldnt couldnt keep them shut,
classroom management did apply outside of class. hah!

dun worry helmi. i did tat all the time in my class.
i noe its difficult at first but hey.. it works!! ((:

came back about 5 and gt a call from wan.
he said his fren gt a tix for Gentara2009 which his fren couldnt make it.
and there i go off again to watch the comedy theater musical.

it was titled “Bapa Borek, Anak Cerdik“

never i had enjoyed so much in musical before.
the performance was simply awesome!!

went to bedok reservoir park on sunday.
its one of the youth-in-action programme conducted by Mendaki.
we were supposed to be heading for the Forest Adventure for some high elements fun.

however, the weather was not on our side.
it poured hard at about 1230 right after our briefing.
and lightened at around 2pm.
the programme had to be postponed.

all the kids were so excited to have a go at the circuit.
perhaps next time ya.
feel sad for the kids. cn see the disappointment in their faces. ):

anyway. that day i meet the kids from pioneer pri.
they were from pri 5 & 6

we’ll be meeting again soon.
the next one was tis sat – Sungei Buloh.
then the movie screening on the 27th
and the Sports Challenge on the 4th July.

hey all.
post exam activity for today is
ZOO!!!

hahaha.. it seemed like years since i last set foot there.
well.. apparently we didnt have much time to explore the Zoo.
the kids were given like 2hrs max to do their math trail.

manage to cover till the baboon’s area.
we start off the treetop trail.
mind you. the weather is HOT!!
and the kids were like primates escaping from their enclosure.
loL~

not much pix thou.
didnt get to see the whole zoo.
perhaps we could have a picnic there..
anyone gonna plan on this? heheh~

back.home

hey all.
was away for a very short getaway wif mum, sis, wan & mak limah
well, u can say its Mother’s Day Treat. (:

so yea.
we’re off to KL-Melacca by coach.
we went to places like Nilai3, Jln Masjid India, Chow Kit, Melacca, Simpang Renggam
nothing fancy. go there to realise some stress. hahaha
ya laa.. sempat mark a few scripts on the way there. =P

the crowd wasnt that bad this time.
although there are more mak ciks & pak ciks.
surprisingly, they’re the more sporting ones. haha~

was thinking of going for another short getaway this june
but my cousin is getting married.
have to pass on that.
they’re planning to go to pulau pangkor.

hehehe.
i know its a bit too late. but who cares.

finally, the HRC is completed!
time to rejoice.. big thanks to my other co-form who helped in keying in the remarks.
although some of the remarks made doesnt reflect what is in the student,
nonetheless, managed to tweak here and there..

HRC aside.. Annual Award Ceremony (AAC) was a success
held last friday. first time to witness their AAC in sch
to many, it was speech day.
to me, another dun waste my time event.
hahaha~

i dun consider myself mean.
do you think its mean by asking those are punished to write lines?
its juz 300 lines.. well that’s bare minimum. if you wan more.. ask my 1NA students.
they had a taste of that.
and now.. no more beta form ‘coz they thought its juz a joke.
so class.. since u treat everything like a joke.
that’s the remedy from me to you.
