yesterday was power pack!!
woke up early in the morning to be at sungei buloh.
another YIM programme for pri sch kids.
kids from pioneer, teck ghee, woodlands, marsiling, macpherson attended
about 40 of them

weather was good.
company was great except their are too chatty.
well since most of the facilitators couldnt couldnt keep them shut,
classroom management did apply outside of class. hah!

dun worry helmi. i did tat all the time in my class.
i noe its difficult at first but hey.. it works!! ((:

came back about 5 and gt a call from wan.
he said his fren gt a tix for Gentara2009 which his fren couldnt make it.
and there i go off again to watch the comedy theater musical.

it was titled “Bapa Borek, Anak Cerdik“

never i had enjoyed so much in musical before.
the performance was simply awesome!!

my greatest apologies to CB for not turning up @ the pot luck last sat.
i thought u guys would stay overnight
but didnt know u guys head back home after that.

well, reason of my absence was, im with my sispec bois.
the 7 of us.
congrats to Hakim.
getting married at the end of the year. ((:

on sat. meet up with ash.
this boi is going off to serve the nation for the next 2yrs.
he’ll be in Pulau Tekong for his BMT.
my guess is sispec after that.
and most prob sent off to either 1 of the SIR.
if not – guards!! hahaha.

went to bedok reservoir park on sunday.
its one of the youth-in-action programme conducted by Mendaki.
we were supposed to be heading for the Forest Adventure for some high elements fun.

however, the weather was not on our side.
it poured hard at about 1230 right after our briefing.
and lightened at around 2pm.
the programme had to be postponed.

all the kids were so excited to have a go at the circuit.
perhaps next time ya.
feel sad for the kids. cn see the disappointment in their faces. ):

anyway. that day i meet the kids from pioneer pri.
they were from pri 5 & 6

we’ll be meeting again soon.
the next one was tis sat – Sungei Buloh.
then the movie screening on the 27th
and the Sports Challenge on the 4th July.

New.Year.2009

first n foremost.. slamat tahun baru to all. )
this is my first entry of the year.. woohoo!!

just some updates..
projek ubin was a success after 2 years of planning. hahaha~
yep.. happy although the first few planning sangkak..
buttt…
tadaaa.. jejak jugak ke pulau ubin.

i celebrate my 26th b’dae on the 28th and i juz turn 27th – 5 days ago.
hahahha.. nothing big of a celebration.
juz some cake cutting wif families & frens.. )

NYE
GP had a steamboat session @ God’s crib..
loads of food, gr8 company.. but too bad ashh cudnt be there..
if nt, it wud be better.
stayed for countdown in front of the telly.. hahahha~
although its lame.. but still, enjoyed da fireworks. =P

as the New Year kicks in..
many r still prep up their work,
pack bag 4 school..
coz the nxt day.. its nt a school hols..

tads where kids will go to sch after a long break..
parents of pri 1 r busy wif their kids.. )
while the rest.. work.. work.. work.. hahaha~

nonetheless..
im was quite excited of the first wkend.
coz tads where we head down to East Coast after a long 2 yr break.
yep.. the last time i went to ecp was 2 yrs back wif them.
and here.. we’re back again!!

really enjoy the company.. although its tired.
at the same time, we’re celebrating rikee’s 21st bdae. )
finally ur @ ur TWO. hahahha~ well, ashh.. urs is up nxt.
hahaha although penatt giler babi..
but i do realli enjoy the moment spent there..
definitely will nt forget the time spent together~

science.ctr wif da ministers

ahahaha.. yep..
the transport,finance and mica was there.. loL~

actualli tu sumer tahyol.. bak kata khai.. jgn percaye tu sumer.. wakakkaa~
anyways, me, bom and khai decided to head down to the singapore science ctr..
a good sunny afternoon.. yep~ gerekz..

there was a dinosaur exhibition and bom wanted to see it real bad laa..

and here we are.. weee~

lets enter the science ctr…

we we’re greeted by the majestic t-rex at the entrance.. hahhaa~
lets recall.. hmm.. the last time i’ve been here.. eons ago.. hahhaaa~
i tink i remember the last time i’ve been here was when the omnimax was showing the space..

anyways.. i tink the place was upgraded. hahha.. or i tink it was renovated. loL~
from physics to chemistry to energy.. wierd experiments..
reminds me of primary sch.. hahaha

if onli these creatures would be alive.. wonder how it wud be like.. hahhaa.. too bad my fav dinosaur nt there.. u noe.. the one wif the club on its tail.. hahaha~

on the left is the exo skeletion of a t-rex and on the right is me holding a florescent lamp in the experiment involving a tesla coil.. the lamp lited up when the experiment started. whoaaa~ magic!!

guess which is mine.. wahahahaha~
we caught Dino Alive @ the omnimax.. a good show.. my second time going there..
it showed how dino bones are discovered especially at Gobi Desert and the Ghost Ranch in New Mexico.

decided to continue our tour  in the rest of the science..
hahaha visited the water exhibition and a few more before calling it a day..
those who nvr visted.. i wud say.. do visit the science center..
its worth ur 12 bucks.. hehehe~

so wads next? jurong bird park, ministers? hahahhaa..
perhaps slumber party tis friday eh at finance minister’s place..

actualli, terbangun lambat la..

anyway, si charlie kol me @ 930. coz i’m supposed to meet him den.

reach changi village at abt 11am gitu.. hahaha sempat sarapan tosai – $2.50 je.. fuyohh
meet up dorang sooner.. 2nd round sarapan.. hahhaa.. buncit sak aku. lols

we queue for the bumboat ride.. price alreadi hike to 2.50 instead of the normal 2 bucks.. haizz..
petrol naik.. sumer naik harga.. sianz..

cuace is good.. but juz cloudy and unpredictable..
so anyways, we rented the bike for 8 bucks.. for the whole day.. start off @ abt 1pm gitu.
for someone who ride bikes and nvr rode on bicycle for very long time..
its blardy challenging laa!! sianz.. penat la siol kayuh.. hhahaa..

some things nvr change there.. the quarry looks nicer. well it juz seems nicer. hahaha~
there’s a new bike park there.. where anyone who’s daring enuf to try the obstacles.
hahaha.. ada yg sampai tergolek anjing. haha~
dan almost did the superman stunt . haha..
manage to cover the western part of the island and the weather seems bad..

rush back to the shops at the jetty and lepak..
kasi dlm 10 minit gitu.. da turon la sey.. gedebush!!!

yep.. we tried the thai coconut while waiting for the rain to stop..
mak oii.. basah beb.. hujan mcm 10 tahun tk hujan gitu.. hahaha~
at the same time.. we wait for chris and gf to arrive..

time to conquer the eastern part of the island when both of them arrive. hahhaa yeaa!!
too bad we didnt go to the swampy areas of chek java.
the terrain there is a challenging and fun..
challenging to ride up.. and zooming the downhill part.. fuyohh..
tu kalo terbabas.. hahaha aku siapkn bas mayat k.. hahaha~

overall its fun laa.. shud try again someday..
but tis friday, we decided to go for nite cycling..
sape nk join? heheheh~ lutot kena ketatkn eh.. hahhaha

hahaa itu la oleh-oleh dari pulau ubin.. =)
